To open up your clue scroll:
1) First, you'll need to figure out what kind of clue scroll you have. Just click on it and it will say where the exact spot generally is.
2) Buy a spade at the general store in varrock.
2) Walk on to the spot shown using the guide below.
3) With the clue scroll in your inventory, click the spade.
5) If done right, your clue scroll will have turned into a casket.
----- there are some rare cases in some private servers where the reward is another clue scroll, just start from step #1 again.
6) Click on the casket to claim your reward!
----- make sure you have a free inventory spot, or it may disappear.
